80th Birthday

Tonight I have made a card for Jayme's (Karlee's Boyfriend) Grandmother. She is having her 80th Birthday this weekend.

I was inspired by Teneale Williams. I used this inspiration to make my Mothers 60th invitations back in November 2012. I loved it so much I did another altered version for this card. I just LOVE the vintage elegant magic of this combination of colours and sponging.

A close up of the details

And of course the inside

I'm safe because Jayme's grandma and mother don't look at my blogspot.....LOL

I hope she has a very Happy 80th Birthday party on Saturday night.

A Busy Sunday

Well my Sunday was busy in so many ways......First I worked at Sapar Landscaping till 1.30pm and then came home and did some crafting. My friend, Sanchia dropped by to make a special get well card for a friend later in the afternoon.

Before then, I decided to make Easter Treats for the Year 3 children in my daughter Allanna class......Allanna is the teacher hahaha. I had some fantastic help making these treats. Thank you to Allanna and her gorgeous friend Natalie. We made over 30 in record time....We are a great production

Allanna requested NO chocolate because there is a child that is allergic to it (poor little person), so I opted to make jelly bean tubes. They are super cute.

I hope the children enjoy them.....

March Stamp Club...

March Stamp Club is done and dusted..... This month with played with more goodies from the Seasonal Catalogue. I cased all of the project ideas from Pinterest, Splitcoast stampers and Do Stamping with Dawn.

This card featured the Soda Pop tops and the Honeycomb emboss folder. The stamp set used is Collage Curios and Vintage Verses SAB.

It was great to squash the Soda Pop tops in the Big Shot machine. It makes them look so elegant.

Paper Doilies, Sycamore Street DSpaper SAB, Designer brads, butterfly embossilit and That's a Ticket Stamp Set.

This project was cased from Do Stamping with Dawn. Super cute little treat boxes using the Sale.A.Bration FREE goodies.
Sycamore Street DSpaper SAB, Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack, Pretty Petites Stamp Set and Petite Curly Label Punch.

Hope all the girls had FUN creating this month....

Baby Shower Invites

It's Baby Shower time again.......I have spent the morning with Tammy (cousins wife) creating. You may have remembered Tammy's boy baby shower invites from a few years ago......Little romper cards with giraffes on them. This time we are going PINK.

It's a girl and I have created these little dress invites with owls. The theme for the new baby girls room is owls.

The production line was very efficient. My daughter Allanna was in control of OWL production, while Tammy and I cut, embossed and stamped the cards. Tammy's 2 year old son, Tyler, was a wonderful child and played contently while we crafted.
It didn't take long at all to make 25 invites.

Cardstock: pretty in pink, soft suede, crumb cake and white, Soft subtles designer paper pack
Hardware: owl punch, bird builder punch, 1 3/8" circle, 1 3/4" scallop, circles#2 die, scallop edge border punch, Large scallop edglelits, delicate designs emboss folder, big shot
Stamp set: Itty Bitty Banners
Rhinestone basic jewels

Only approx. 8 weeks till we meet the new addition :)
