We here go...... I have been making stacks of things for Christmas Gifts for all different people and reasons. Now I have found 5 minutes to share some.......
The little candle set for my Secret Santa Swap in Friday3 Stamp Club. Jodie organised the swap. These were inspired by Andrea Walford Christmas ideas from last year. Cheap Candles with Glass Glitter around the top, Christmas rub- ons from last year and handmade box with insert and acetate lid....a bit of Cherry Cobbler tulle, dsp and a label to finish.
The triple candle sets where a little gift for my darling friends, Shandelle, Mary and Sanchia. They shared a wonderful afternoon Christmas treat with me.....We are all sooo busy and we never get to "stop and smell the roses" so we went for High Tea at McMahons Restaurant at Quay West in Brisbane.....Very posh....we had a marvellous afternoon. NEXT...... Allanna had a 10 day Secret Santa at her school......Crazy hey???? But they have to give ten small presents (not more than a few dollars each day) over two weeks. It didn't matter about the gifts......They were going to be the BEST wrapped presents ever with Mum (a Stampin'Up demo)....hahaha
A little box of hand stamped cookies complete with handmade bow, thanks to Kirsty Brown's tutorial at Heartfelt Brisbane.
A beautiful decorated bottle of musk lollies.
The best way to wrap a Chap stick lip balm.....Stampin'Up fabric and DSP and a cute little ginger bread man stamp...
There were a few more but we got carried away and forgot to take pictures....LOL
And a little gift from me for Allanna's Grade 3 pupils .... A little reindeer candy cane. Back with more soon.... SUZIE
A HUGE THANK YOU to the gorgeous girls in my downline....Suzies Crew.
This year has been my MOST rewarding. I have gathered some new friends and had so much fun along the way. They are inspirational. They keep me motivated and on my toes....lol
I'm not sure who to thank for the inspiration for these little gifts. DO Stamping with Dawn or Inking Idaho with Becky Roberts or Donna Petty (Friday3 Stamp Club)...But the idea was cased,I just decorated.
Stamp Set- Mixed Medley
Cardstock and Ink- Crumb cake, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Gumball Green
Champagne Glimmer, Be of Good Cheer DSP
Tools- Simply Scored, Lacy Brocade TIEF, Designer Rosette Bigz Die, Label Collection Framelits, Festive Paper Pierce pack, piercing tool, hole punch, Gumball green stitched satin ribbon, sticky strip and hot glue
We all enjoyed a wonderful night of great conversation, fabulous card swap and Christmas goodies.....Here is to a FANTASTIC 2013 !!! SUZIE
Mum's Surprise 70th Birthday....and SURPRISE her we did. It fell on a Saturday this year so that helped. It is extremely hard for us to keep anything from Mum but we managed a wonderful surprise. We gathered about 50 family and friends in Ipswich, even her sister from Melbourne. You see, it makes it even harder because we all work together on a daily basis in the family business. Mum doesn't work and only visits each week, so it was a task to make sure no-one dropped the bomb.
Mum loves flowers and has one of the best garden in Ipswich, so the room was decorated in flowers and pink everything.
I was inspired by a card I saw by the one and only super talented, Teneale Williams, for the invitations and made party favours with the new petite purse die.
The little petite purse party favours.....crazy to make 55 of these... but aren't they so cute. I filled them with Ernest Hillier chocolates but only three chocolates fitted. They were larger than normal ones......hahaha
We held it at the Metro Ipswich International Hotel, a beautiful 3 course dinner and a magician. It was fabulous and Mum enjoyed herself immensely.
November Stamp Club Girls get to make this beautiful Christmas Ornament using the Stampin'Up! Ornament Bundle, SnowFlurry Bigz Die and Delicate Doilies Sizzlits L Die and More Merry Messages Stamp Set. The colours used are Very Vanilla, Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler. In the bottom picture you can see there is dazzling diamonds glitter on all the edges.....Very Pretty in real life.
This is the Christmas card that I recently taught at the Ipswich 4 Craft Weekend. It uses the Framelits and the Ornament Keepsakes Bundle. This bundle is fast becoming a' Favourite ' of mine....but aren't they all....hahaha
Colours are Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. The card started with a 12" x 6" piece of vanilla and I folded the card at 41/4" and 10". You can't see but I have used the Festival Paper Piercing Pack to pierce all the way around the edge of the gumball green framelit on the front. There is also glitter over the ornament and rhinestones on the label.
I use my ruler and SU! markers to hand draw the lines on the ornaments and draw the little bows on them. Hope this has inspired you to start making Christmas cards this year......I am way behind....better keep going..... SUZIE
Just finished my Halloween Treats for the neighbourhood kids for tomorrow night....... Stampin'Up! made it easy this year. I used the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit. Complete with little glassine bags , tags and googly eyes. I used some little brown paper bags to make some larger goodie bags. I used the Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper.
Brown paper ones
As a Special Treat!!!! I made 25 SU! little mini milk cartons for the children in Allanna's Year 3 class. We filled them with lollies and chocolates. The little face on the front is not Stampin'Up! Hope they get a big surprise!!! Happy Trick or Treating tomorrow night everyone....I hope your treats are HUGE and your tricks little ones....hahaha
My down-line, the gorgeous Natalie, breezed thru my bunker tonight just in enough time to make this beautiful card with me. She had the inspiration for this delightful card and had some great ideas. She bought her A game to the craft table tonight.....hahaha
Thanks Natalie xx Stamp set: Flight of the Butterfly Colours: Primrose Petals, Baja Breeze, Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse and White DSP: Patio Party Tools: Big Shot, Elegant Lines emboss folder, Finishing Touches Edgelit, Butterfly punch. SUZIE
Meet Jack.....His is my new addition to my Stamping 'Bunker'. My friend Nadine borrowed my Yo-Yo maker a few weeks ago, and then at Stamp Club presented me with Jack...... Isn't he FANTASTIC!!! I am sooooo spoilt by my gorgeous friends. Nadine said she had to make him for me because I am as crazy about Halloween as she is....YEAY!!! Jack proudly sits on my shelf under my ribbons and protects my Bunker from any evil spirits, especially the ones for BAD Craft mojo...hahaha SUZIE

The turquoise and white card was a special request.
In the last month I have been making Wedding cards. It seems to be that time of the year. I haven't been to a wedding for ages and now I have two in one month.
I also had to make some for a lovely lady I meet at a local school fete. So I thought I would share a few cards with you.
I do LOVE the black and white cards. They are my favourites. This one is a large card A5 size. I think wedding ones should be very special, thats why I make them bigger than usual.
This card is 6" x 6" square with embossing and a little red glitter heart. I used the new stamp set "Love and Laughter" and the saying 'happily ever after' is a rub-on from Stampin'Up! Chit Chat rub-ons. Suzie
Last weekend we attended Natalie and Kierans Wedding. Natalie and Kieran are friends with Aaron and Allanna. We have been busy making 80 Milk carton Sweet boxes as wedding favours. Allanna and I were incharge of setting up the Sweet table and keeping it stocked up all night. The picture doesn't do justice to how pretty and big it really was. The black rosette disc with their initials on it was approx. 25cm round.
The sweet table
The Entrance sign we made for the chapel
The Milk carton Sweet favours. They were 15cm x 6cm. They could fit LOTS of lollies in them....LOL
Two Gorgeous girls.....Natalie and my daughter Allanna
I know I haven't blogged for a month again but when a girl is busy, SHE IS BUSY...... I have made another Baby Name Frame for a friend of Greg and Karen. Karen sent me a picture of the mural on the nursery wall of baby MIA and I created the frame to match. I hope they were thrilled with the result....
