Hello Everyone...just sharing two projects we made in the first workshop for 2011. The card can be made for any occasion and the ladies chose to put a "Happy Mothers Day" greeting on it and the little box was a idea I found on Splitcoast Stampers and I used one of my fav stamp sets, Aviary, from the Summer Mini catalogue.
Cardstock and Ink: Baja breeze, So saffron, Cherry cobbler, whisper white.
Stamp sets: Aviary and Curly Cute
Sweet Slumber DSP from last year
So saffron brad, Baja breeze ribbon and pearls
2 3/8"Scallop circle punch, 1 3/8" circle and split punch
Scallop Circle Bigz die
The Sweet Summer card used a very basic watercolour technique using the markers and an aqua painter. Just colouring a small section with the marker and dragging the colour across the rest of the image with the aquapainter....just a cheats way to watercolour..VERY EASY but still effective.
Cardstock, Inks and Markers: pear pizzazz, daffodil delight, peach parfait, blushing bride
Stamp Set: Sweet Summer SAB and teeny tiny sentiments
word window punch, scallop edge punch, aqua painters, paper piercer and mat pack, dimensionals
Pear Pizzazz stitched poly ribbon
Back tomorrow with some more cards... I think I am getting my mojo back after a very busy holiday season and all the terrible weather we have been experiencing in Queensland at the moment.
Hopefully it will get better from now.......
Love Suzie xoxo
