Halloween Invites

Aussies are starting to celebrate Halloween and we have Trick or Treaters knocking on our door every year.... so this year we are going to my sisters house for a BBQ. It's our excuse to dress up for Halloween......we love the dress up thing. My sister, Lynda lives in a large new estate and last year she had about 100 children knocking on her door for lollies, so this year we will be there to help hand out the lolly bags.
I will post some photos of us later.

Cardstock & Ink: black and Tangerine Tango
Stamp Sets where some retired Stampin'Up ones that we bought from the USA.
Tools: polka dot embossing folder and circle punches
Hope you have a wonderful start to your week, I'll be back soon.

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!!!!!!

I know we needed rain but enough is enough for South East Queensland...Our dams are full and the ground is soggy. Our family Landscape supply business now needs lots of sunny days to keep us busy, busy, busy. These wet days brings everything to a halt.

BRING ON THE SUNSHINE............

Another Birthday.....

WOW!!!!!! Time is flying by.... Another one is turning 18.

My darling niece Kaila (my brother Geoff's daughter) is turning 18 this week. Thought I would share the "Kaisercraft" 18 Book that I have decorated for her.
I know she will be thrilled because it is in her favourite colours - pink and black, just like her little Suzuki Swift car.

Turned out sassy and cute just like Kaila.

Paper: Ski Slope DSP
Accessories: Gold Cord
Tools: Ornament Punch

This is a fantasic technique to use up those leftover strips of stripy paper....

Pumpkin Box

Just thought I would share this one too....I didn't have a blogspot last year..........
This is the Pumpkin Box from a Splitcoaststampers tutorial I made for the kids. You can find the instructions in the resources at Splitcoaststampers.
The cool Halloween die cuts are from the Slice Machine, my cousin Colleen has one, and she cut all these out for me. I filled it up with toys and chocolates. They loved them.

A few punches and a bit of ink later and they are complete. These were super easy and sooo much fun. My friends have been making some ready for Halloween. I know we don't really celebrate this in Australia but it's getting more popular here. For the last few years I have had Trick or Treaters knocking on my door. It's great to have a special gift for them.
